Develop the magnetism to draw what you need in life, when you need it. Learn long-hidden secrets of the Himalayan yogis of how to gain influence over the material plane, by attunement to the spiritual plane.

As you well know, this is a time of unprecedented economic insecurity. Jobs and investments once thought rock-solid are not providing the support we counted on. Sages, including Paramhansa Yogananda, have long-predicted that this time would come. Not as a punishment, they reassure us, but to help us achieve a more appropriate balance between our material and our spiritual lives.

Now is the time to develop our inner strength. Not only faith in God, but also the ability to use the power of God within us to manifest what we need at the time we need it. This course is based on principles that Swami Kriyananda learned directly from Yogananda. Using them, without any material resources of his own, he created Ananda from nothing to what it is today.

We’ll explore Lessons 16 - 26 during the September-November classes. Feel free to drop in to any class in this series. Each class will cover a unique topic area.

October

Building Spiritual Power

Saturday, October 1, 9:30 am - noon, $30
Whether welcome, or painful, global or personal, change is the only constant in life. All of us face times when cherished beliefs, values, accomplishments and possessions are threatened. Difficult decisions have to be made. A willow tree does not fear the wind because it knows how to bend. A rock has a different strength, steadfast, unmoving. Both are needed. Sometimes the lesson is to stand against the tide, sometimes to go with the flow. Learn to understand, and have the courage to face, what God is asking of you.

The Living Christ
Tuesdays, November 30 - December 14, 7 pm, $40

Christmas is a time to make great spiritual progress. The veil between the material and the spiritual world is reduced to gossamer by the outpouring of grace from God, Christ, and Gurus. A natural time to study the words of Christ and tune into the mystical meaning too often obscured by sectarian dogma. Jesus was not a “fundamentalist,” he was a Self-realizationist, a guru in the same lineage as Yogananda and Babaji. Attune to the living Christ. Transform your experience of Christmas and your everyday life.
