The peace
of your soul awaits you
at the center of your own being.
“The
blessed role of Kriya Yoga in the West has hardly more than just
begun. May all
men come to know that
there is a definite, scientific technique of self- realization
for the overcoming of all human misery!”
From Autobiography of a Yogi,(1946 Edition),
by Paramhansa Yogananda
“After the mind has been cleared
by Kriya Yoga of sensory obstacles, meditation furnishes a twofold
proof of God. Ever-new
joy is evidence of His existence, convincing to our very atoms.
Also, in meditation one finds His constant guidance, His adequate
response to every difficulty.”
Sri Yukteswar to Yogananda
Kriya Yoga is a technique
of pranayama (energy control) which, when practiced during meditation,
greatly accelerates
one’s
progress toward God. Kriya is one of the most effective techniques
available to help us reach the goal of union with the Infinite
and is the heart of the spiritual practices for disciples of Paramhansa
Yogananda.
