Ananda is a global movement based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, who showed how everyone can realize God in daily life as a tangible, loving presence.
Ananda was founded in 1969 by Yogananda’s direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda. Yogananda’s non-sectarian teachings embrace the eternal truths that underlie all the great religions. People from all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at Ananda.
Ananda encourages all to expand their sense of harmony, and increase their experience of God’s loving presence in their lives. This is attained through the practice of ancient and timeless techniques which Yogananda streamlined and made scientifically effective for modern life, including meditation, Kriya Yoga, spiritually oriented Hatha Yoga, affirmations, loving community, and divine friendship.
We invite you to join us at our meditation temple and in our community to share in the journey to self-realization.
